How to connect to a Linux server

To access the terminal of you new Linux server you could use a SSH client such as  Putty. You'll find your servers login details in your Dashboard -> My servers and then you choose which of your servers you'd like to connect to. On every servers information page you'll find it's IP address, default user root and it's unique default password which we recommend you to change after first login. Default SSH port is 22.

Another option is to connect directly via the KVM VNC console found at:  Dashboard -> My servers in the servers drop down menus. Press Connect to connect with noVNC from a new browser window (make sure the popup blocker is disabled for control panel). Should you accidentally lock yourself out with a bad firewall rule you can still access your server using this tool.
